The Art Thunell Legacy Fund
For more than three decades, Coach Art Thunell shaped generations of students, athletes, and families at Grant Union High School in John Day, Oregon. The Art Thunell Legacy Fund was created to preserve his story, support programs and projects that reflect his values, help preserve and enhance Malone Field, and carry his legacy of leadership, mentorship, discipline, and service forward to future generations.
What the Fund Supports
The Art Thunell Legacy Fund supports projects and programs that preserve Coach Thunell’s legacy, strengthen the Grant Union community, support Prospector Baseball, and help preserve and enhance Malone Field for future generations.
